St Cross is a beautiful Victorian Manor House with a recent modern extension. It has undergone a significant refurbishment and opened its doors in the early Spring of 2024.
We are seeking lovely, kind, professional and caring people to create our team ready to welcome new residents through our doors with a beaming smile.
Responsibilities:
– Assist in the preparation of food items in the kitchen
– Stand in for the Chef during periods of absence and as required
– Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas
– Wash dishes, pots, pans, and other kitchenware
– Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and storage areas
– Dispose of trash and recyclables properly
– Assist chefs with food preparation and statutory paperwork as needed
– Follow all safety and sanitation procedures

– Previous experience working in a commercial kitchen preferred
– Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment
– Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
– Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
– Excellent communication skills and customer service-oriented mindset
– Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

Pay: £13.50 per hour
