Job Title: Courier Delivery Owner Operator

Million Deliveries Inc. (MDI) is looking for a reliable and experienced Courier Delivery Owner Operator to join our team in Grand Falls-Windsor, NL. The ideal candidate will have their own vehicle (Mini Van or Cargo Van) to deliver the packages and experienced in safely delivering the packages to our customers in a professional and timely manner. This role leads the effort to provide exceptional customer service and satisfaction, maintaining accurate records of packages for tracking purposes. Simply put, we are looking for someone who is punctual to deliver on time, responsible for maintaining record and safely delivering packages and reliable to provide services for customer satisfaction.

Note: For vehicle owners/ candidates with their own vehicle, interested to apply for this position, we will only accept mini vans or cargo vans.

WHAT WILL YOU DO:

● Deliver packages to customers in a safe and timely manner,

● Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations on road,

● Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups of the packages and use the scanner, complete the sheets, respond to team queries about the package as per the requirements,

● Provide excellent customer service and represent the company in a professional manner,

● Report any issues or concerns, and provide updates by clear communication to Management,

● Keep delivery vehicle clean and well-maintained as per the requirements,

● Follow delivery schedules and routes as per the instructions,

● Perform other duties as assigned to make sure the process is smooth,

WHAT DO YOU BRING TO THE ROLE:

● High school diploma or equivalent, University degree will be considered as an asset,

● Must have at least 1 year of clean driving experience,

● Valid driver’s license (Class-G/5) and a clean driving record,

● Willing to work during winters,

● Must have a reliable delivery vehicle (we will only accept a minivan or cargo van as per our requirement),

● Good communication and customer service skills,

● Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds,

● Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays,

● Familiarity with local roads and traffic rules and patterns,

● Ability to use GPS and other navigation tools,

● Prior delivery or driving experience would be considered an asset.

Pay: $800.00-$1,200.00 per week

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
