Job Description:

Our client, Izyan Ltd, is seeking a talented and creative Curry Chef to join our culinary team. The Chef will be responsible for creating delightful and appetising Curry dishes while maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation, and taste.

Responsibilities:

Potential Curry Chef will be responsible for creating delicious and authentic Indian cuisine, managing the kitchen, training staff, and ensuring that customers are satisfied with their meals.

• Developing and creating new recipes for Indian curries, including experimenting with different ingredients and spices to produce unique and flavorful dishes.
• Creating a menu that includes a variety of dishes, ensuring that there is something for everyone.
• Preparing and cooking Indian curries, including the use of traditional cooking methods and techniques to create authentic flavors.
• Managing inventory of all ingredients, ensuring that they are fresh and available for use when needed.

Food Safety:

Ensuring that all food is prepared and stored safely, adhering to food safety guidelines and regulations, as well as

• Ensure that all food is prepared in a timely manner and meets quality standards
• Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
• Train and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring they adhere to proper food handling and safety procedures
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role in a restaurant setting
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure
• Attention to detail and creativity in food presentation
• Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices
