Your Role:

· Deburr and finish machined components using various handheld powered tools and finishing materials.

· Bring machined components up to standard/specification to meet customer requirements.

· Ensure products are finished satisfactorily and in line with customer deadlines.

· Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.

· Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot issues and improve processes.

Job Responsibilities:

· Liaise with the Inspection Department to understand any rework requirements from the previous day.

· Communicate with the area Team Leader to understand daily work priorities and customer requirements.

· Review drawings for each component to understand job requirements.

· Work with team members and managers to learn the role and clarify any unfamiliar tasks.

· Use tools such as scrapers, Dremel’s, wet and dry paper, and polishing materials to remove machining marks and finely polish surfaces to customer specifications.

· Occasionally take basic measurements of components to ensure they meet specifications.

· Repair parts with machining errors or faults when given specific instructions.

· Plan personal weekly work schedule, reporting any resource bottlenecks or overload situations, and address any underutilization issues during quieter periods.
