Job Summary
Chingford Smile Club are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse / Receptionist to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care, assisting dentists during procedures, and ensuring a smooth workflow within the clinic. This position requires excellent communication skills, strong organisational abilities, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care.
Full time – permanent position
MUST be Flexible over 7 days per week (between 0845am – 9.30pm) Saturdays included.
Salary – £25,000-£27,000 (DOE)
Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during various dental procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared in advance.
- Provide direct patient care by preparing patients for treatment, explaining procedures, and ensuring their comfort throughout the visit.
- Maintain accurate patient records and update information as required using IT systems.
- Dentally software experience (desirable)
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including infection control protocols.
- Manage the sterilisation of dental instruments and maintain cleanliness in the treatment areas.
- Schedule appointments and follow up with patients regarding their treatment plans.
- Communicate effectively with patients, addressing any concerns or questions they may have regarding their dental health.
- Collaborate with other dental professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to patient care.
Experience
- GDC Registration
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, are essential for effective patient interaction.
- Dentally software experience desirable
- Proficient IT skills for managing patient records and scheduling systems.
- Organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently within a busy clinical environment.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £25,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
