Job Summary
Location: Hyde Road depot
Here at Metroline Manchester following our recent addition to the Bee Network we’re really excited to be on the look out for a Depot Supervisor to join our Service Delivery team. Reporting directly to the Service Delivery Manager on site you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the depot. This position focusses on staff allocation and forward coverage, ensuring all required training is completed. Maintaining a close working relationship with platform staff and performance team to address live operational needs.
- Monitor and adjust staffing levels in real-time to address operational needs including spare staff allocation and dealing with change requests.
- To develop and foster a sound relationship with platform staff and maintain good communication with other garage employees and managers.
- Maintain accurate records of staffing levels, rota updates, and training completions. · Provide regular updates to depot management on staffing, training, and coverage forecasts.
- Ensure all staff complete required training, including CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) and Corrective training as appropriate

Essential Criteria
- Previous experience in a similar role within the Transport industry is desired.
- Excellent written and verbal English with the ability to communicate clearly at all levels.
- Must have excellent knowledge of the Driving Hours Regulations.
- Must be a team player and willing to develop others to increase team and individual performance.
- Flexibility to adjust to ever changing industry demands and resilience in working under pressure.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a natural flair of providing support, guidance and going the extra mile.
Hours of Work
Full time permanent contract 38 weekly hours, 5 days over 7
Flexibility required to work early starts, late finishes and weekends
