I am on the hunt for a Deputy Manager to join our larger and extremely established company at our EBD home. And due to the hard work of the team, the home is OFSTED rated ‘Good’.

With a starting salary of £32,000 and up to £6000 extra from sleep-in, there is a real opportunity to earn a great salary.

The home is fully staffed but is now in need of a Deputy Manager to aid the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the home. So I am looking for someone who is either established in the role or someone who has had management experience in the sector but is looking for the next step up in their career.

The role itself

✅ Aiding the RM in the day-to-day running of the home.

✅ Managing team members: Shift patterns/recruitment/appraisals.

✅ Full time: 39 hours.

✅ 15 hours per week for admin & 24 hours supporting the young people. So, it’s the true best of both worlds.

✅ Available to work the occasional evenings/ weekends etc.

✅ Sleeps when needed, approximately 4-8 a month: £60 per sleep.

✅ OFSTED Inspections: Understanding the different regulations required for inspections and operating accordingly.

Experience:

  • Managing within Residential Childcare: 1 year (preferred)
  • Residential Childcare: 3 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Level 5 Leadership and Management (preferred)
