Domiciliary Care Manager
Job Description
As Domiciliary Care Registered Manager, you will be based in the locality of Borough of Barking and Dagenham in Essex and will have previous working experience as a Registered Manager in domiciliary care. The successful Domiciliary Registered Manager will have a good track record in a similar position and will be able to operate in a fast-paced work environment.
The organisation needs a Registered Manager that will oversee the delivery of a quality service. A manager that can recruit high quality and reliable carers, develop relationships with the local authorities, existing clients and find private clients.
Key responsibilities include:
. CQC compliance
. Generating and developing new business opportunities
. Overall management of the business
. Manage and coordinate the delivery of staff training and development
. Ensuring a safe service is always delivered to clients
. Networking and relationship building
. Strong leadership skills to ensure staff are clear about their duties and responsibilities
. Experience in managing/providing care services
. Motivator with an ability to lead and support staff
. Responsible for the safe delivery and accurate recording of care in line with legislation, the CQC and Company policies
. Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of CQC essential standards and regulations
. Financially adept and able to manage and adhere to budgets
. Ability to communicate effectively to a range of audiences, and to undertake staff development
. Recruitment and training of an efficient team of carers
. Increasing the hours
. Explore new potential areas of growth and expansion
Requirements of the role:
Minimum – 2 years’ experience in Domiciliary Care Management and CQC compliance/regulation
Minimum – NVQ Level 4 Desirable – NVQ 5 in Leadership & Management
Successful completion of a Fit and Proper Person CQC assessment interview
Full UK Driving Licence and own Transport
Enhanced DBS Check

Pay: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
