ob Type: Part-time, Permanent (Mon-Fri)

Part-time hours: 25-30hrs per week maximum.

Salary: £11.44 per hour (rising in line with Government standards)

Duncan Private Hire are recruiting drivers who will deliver, passenger “Home to School” transport in the Melksham, Trowbridge, Devizes, Chippenham, Corsham, Calne and, the surrounding areas starting the new School Term in September 2024.

What we do:

• We provide minibus transport for Special Educational Needs (SEN) children and adults too and from school, college, or day care centres
• All our work is delivered effectively, safe, and in a flexible manner.
• We quickly establish positive and professional relationships with passengers, their carers/parents and, teachers at the various schools/day centres that they attend.
• We maintain all minibuses in a roadworthy, clean, and tidy manner.
• All driving is done during Term time only (School Hours)

What we will need from you:

• A valid UK driving licence.
• Be able to pass an enhanced criminal record check as you will be working with children, young persons and/or vulnerable adults.
• Pass a Gp 2 medical to comply with Wiltshire Council licensing standards.
• Have the right to work in the UK.

Your Working Schedule:

• Monday to Friday (between 4/6 hrs morning/afternoon, contract dependent)
• No weekends

Experience Needed:

• driving: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• driving license required with no more than 6 minor points.
