Are you a passionate and motivated Early Years Practitioner looking for your next challenge? Do you thrive in a collaborative and supportive environment, working with a dedicated team to make a lasting difference in young children’s lives? If so, we’d love to hear from you!

We are looking for a passionate and caring early years professional to become part of our wonderful early years team at Brooklands. We are recruiting a Level 3 practitioner to lead our brand new two-year-old room, supported by our Early Years Lead. The new two-year-old provision will form part of the established Bluebells Nursery at Brooklands, which is very much a part of our thriving primary school. Our ethos is centered on providing a warm, inclusive and stimulating environment where children can thrive emotionally, socially and developmentally.

Our close-knit community is built on strong relationships and a shared commitment to providing the best for our children. With a rich, creative curriculum and the unique opportunities offered by our locality, we inspire a lifelong love of learning in all our pupils.

Our dedication to delivering an ambitious, holistic curriculum was proudly recognized in our recent OFSTED inspection (January 2024). Now, we’re excited to welcome a new Room Leader who shares our vision of putting children at the heart of everything we do.

We’re seeking a professional who :

  • Holds a Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education (or full and relevant equivalent)
  • Has experience working with children aged two years
  • Is able to plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote holistic development
  • Demonstrates a nurturing, patient and empathetic approach to early childhood care
  • Is highly organised, proactive and is able to lead by example
  • Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues, families and the wider school team
  • Is committed to continuous professional development and keeping up to date with best practices
  • Has a strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and safeguarding requirements

What We Offer in Return

  • A warm, welcoming environment and comprehensive induction to ensure you feel supported from day one.
  • A chance to shape and lead a new provision, making a real difference to the children in your care
  • National terms and conditions and the Local Government Pension Scheme.
  • Access to CPD opportunities, including cross-trust development initiatives.
  • An early salary access scheme and financial guidance through Wagestream.
  • A comprehensive Employee Assistance Programme offering support for your wellbeing.
