We are currently recruiting for a passionate Early Year Teacher to join our lovely nursery in Sale, Mulberry House Day Nursery which is located on New Hall Road.

About the Role

As a Learning Lead at Muddy Boots you will:
  • Provide high standards of quality teaching within the preschool, including the environment, resources and experiences offered to children
  • Inspire the preschool team to plan appropriately for children, using the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum for guidance
  • Lead on ‘School Readiness’ teaching for older preschool children, as well as Early Talk Boost programme
  • Effectively manage EYPP funding.
  • Support the development of good practice concerning Special Educational Needs & Disabilities and Inclusion
  • Be a fantastic role model for outstanding interactions and learning in preschool.
  • Plan and carry out small group activities around communication, maths, phonics and PSED with the oldest children in our preschool room.

The key responsibilities for a Specialist Early Years Teacher is to:

  • Support and educate the team and parents on the development and milestones of children aged three years plus
  • Educate others on the importance and delivery of the early years curriculum

To be successful for this role you should:

  • Hold a full and relevant Early Years Level 6 Childcare Qualification or higher (QTS, EYPS, EYTS)
  • Have experience working with children aged three years plus

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Provide outstanding customer service
