What You’ll Do:

  • Lead the charge in managing electrical projects from conception to completion, ensuring on-time delivery and adherence to budgetary constraints.
  • Collaborate closely with our Mechanical division to orchestrate seamless joint project executions.
  • Shape the future by contributing to the creation of electrical tenders and overseeing contract management.
  • Keep a finger on the pulse of project performance, identifying potential risks and implementing effective solutions.
  • Guide and nurture a team of skilled engineers, providing mentorship and support to drive excellence.
  • Champion health and safety practices, maintaining compliance across all project sites.
  • Forge strong relationships with suppliers to secure favourable rates and optimize procurement processes.

ELECTRICAL PROJECT MANAGER

King’s Lynn

The Company:

Dodd Group was formed in 1947 in Shropshire and has remained a privately owned family business ever since. With an unrivalled reputation within the building services sector, we offer comprehensive electrical and mechanical design, installation and maintenance services across many sectors.

The role:

Dodd Group requires a Project Manager to deliver LV electrical works on utility, industrial and commercial sites across the region. The position is office-based but will require frequent travel across the region to carry out client meetings, surveys, inspections and audits.

Based at the King’s Lynn office, duties will include:

  • Liaison with staff, clients, suppliers and contractors.
  • Survey, design and pricing against client requirements and sector standards.
  • Financial management of projects, including invoicing and reporting.
  • Specification and ordering of materials.
  • Preparation of method statements and risk assessments.
  • Management and briefing of installation personnel.
  • Resolving installation and access issues.
  • Completion and submission of as-installed documentation.

You will need:

You will be electrically-qualified with significant experience of project supervision and management roles, a good understanding of site-based H&S and possess a full clean driving licence and ECS card. Additional qualifications, e.g. SMSTS, CDM- or H&S-related subjects, are always advantageous.

Electrical Project Manager

Cannnock

A Building Services contractor is looking for an Electrical Project Manager to join their team. Due to an increase in workload this company is looking for an individual that wants to come off the tools and venture into the office. You will work on a variety of projects across Schools, University and Health care.

The successful Electrical Project Manager will:

  • Attend client and internal meetings from pre-contract, progress, commissioning to post contract.
  • Management of multiple projects up to £5M
  • Assist with design, lead the procurement process, and assist with surveying, oversee installations and commissioning processes.
  • Oversee Health and Safety, site engineering staff and both supervisory staff / Sub Contractors.
  • A good understanding of forms or Main and Sub Contract documents.
  • Assist in finalising all accounts.

Requirements:

You will previously have worked in the Construction industry as an Electrical Project Manager, Electrical Contract Manager, Electrical Project Engineer, Electrical Project Manager, Electrical Contract Engineer, Mechanical Contract Manager, Mechanical Project Engineer or Mechanical Project Manager

  • Ideally you would be qualified to ONC/HNC/HND in Building services
  • Being able to run multiple jobs at once
