Job Description
Client
A leading top tier regional firm are seeking an Employment Solicitor to join their busy team in Newbury.
Role
You will work with predominantly employer clients however some claimant work will be required.
You will provide guidance on a wide range of employment law issues including recruitment, termination, discrimination, contract disputes, unfair dismissal, sickness absence, grievances, redundancies, TUPE, performance concerns and disciplinary proceedings.
You will also draft and review employment contract and handbooks, advise on senior exits and support the corporate team with transactional work.
You will also promote the team at business networking opportunities as well as provide training and guidance to HR and management on employment law topics.
Candidate
It is likely you will have at least 2 years PQE and it is essential you have a solid technical understanding of employment law.
It is also important that you have strong client care skills and are confident with people.
