Engineer or Technical Operator
Job Description
Purpose of role:
To work as part of a multi-disciplined shift team to maintain the Canmaking assets to optimise the utilisation of the equipment and to safely deliver maximum volume maintaining right first-time quality standards.
Key Accountabilities:
- Complete maintenance and operational duties to support production and asset care.
- Continuous monitoring and process control to ISM standards.
- Safely carry out work on equipment located in the Canmaking Dept.
- Assist engineers as required/requested (repairs / overhauls etc).
- Use appropriate business systems to report work done and contribute to the overall effectiveness of the production team.
- Participate in training and train others to achieve production targets, including quarantine control. Maintain personal training and development plans.
- As part of the team provide Training resource, absence and holiday cover across the shifts.
- Participation in all aspects of KHMS
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Must be level 3 technical operator qualified
- Process equipment experience.
- Mechanical Experience / skills preferred.
- Hands on approach to breakdown and repairs.
- Previous Sterilising & Mechanical experience is desirable.
