Job summary
Are you an Enterprise Security Operating Centre (ESOC) Manager looking for a new opportunity?
If so, Dstl Digital is recruiting for an ESOC Manager to be responsible for the day-to-day operational management and protection of Dstl’s critical IT Infrastructure.
This role involves a rainbow team of Crown and Industry cyber security professionals who use cutting-edge technology to monitor and defend the IT that is used by Dstl’s science, technology and research functions.

Job description
In this role you will:
Manage ESOC resources and provide leadership to support information technology (IT) security goals and objectives and reduce overall organisational risk.- Oversee the internal and external reporting for Defensive Cyber activities working with Warning, Advice and Reporting Point (WARP) and partners.
- Actively assist Dstl Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), Dstl Senior Security Risk Coordinator (SSRC) and Principal Security Advisor (PSyA) on strategic security risk management with an emphasis on Defensive Cyber domain.

Our work in defence, security and intelligence requires our employees to be UK Nationals who are able to gain a high level of security clearance to undertake the projects we are involved in to protect us from security threats. This role will require full UK security clearance and you should have resided in the UK for the past 5 years. For some roles Developed Vetting will also be required, in this case you should have resided in the UK for the past 10 years.
Location/Working Pattern

Selection process details
Sifting will take place week commencing the 10th February 2025 with interviews to be arranged from the 3rd March, interviews will consist of a combined behavioral and technical interview to include a 10 minute presentation.
Feedback will only be provided if you attend an interview or assessment.
