Environmental Management Technician

Job Description

Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Environmental Management Technician to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in our commitment to delivering accurate and reliable water quality data.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine and ad-hoc water sampling at various locations.
• Follow established protocols for sample collection, preservation, and transportation.
• Ensure proper documentation of sampling activities and maintain detailed records.
• Collaborate with team members to coordinate sampling schedules and respond to urgent sampling requests.
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) during sampling activities.
• Assist in the calibration and maintenance of sampling equipment.
• Communicate effectively with clients and regulatory authorities as needed.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in water sampling or a related field is desirable.
• Knowledge of water quality parameters and sampling methodologies.
• Familiarity with relevant health and safety regulations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills.

Requirements:

• Valid driving license and willingness to travel to various sampling locations.
• Flexibility to work occasional weekends or evenings based on sampling schedules.
