Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Waiter/Waitress with bartending expertise to join our team. Key Responsibilities:

  • Waitstaff Duties:
  • Welcome and seat guests, providing a warm and friendly atmosphere.
  • Present menus, offer recommendations, and take accurate food and beverage orders.
  • Serve meals and drinks efficiently while maintaining high service standards.
  • Clear and reset tables promptly to ensure smooth service flow.
  • Bartending Duties:
  • Prepare and serve a variety of cocktails, wines, beers, and non-alcoholic beverages.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of drink recipes, garnishes, and proper presentation.
  • Maintain the bar area, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and stock levels.
  • Engage with guests at the bar, creating a welcoming and enjoyable experience.
  • Customer Interaction:
  • Build positive relationships with guests, addressing their needs and special requests.
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally and efficiently.
  • Ensure guests leave with a positive impression and a desire to return.
  • Team Collaboration:
  • Work closely with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure seamless service.
  • Support team members during busy periods, including helping with table setups or bar restocking.
  • Health and Safety Compliance:
  • Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations at all times.
  • Monitor and responsibly manage alcohol service to guests.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a waiter/waitress and bartender in a fast-paced hospitality setting.
  • Strong knowledge of food, beverages, and cocktail preparation.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and maintain attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Certification in alcohol service (e.g., Responsible Service of Alcohol) is a plus.
  • A friendly, professional demeanour with a passion for customer service.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: £11.50-£12.50 per hour
