Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. Must be reliable and punctual and have a good sense of fun whilst remaining professional. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to individuals in a home care settings, ensuring their comfort and well-being. This role requires effective communication skills and the ability to follow care plans while fostering a positive environment for our client.

Duties

  • Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation.
  • Support clients in maintaining their independence by encouraging participation in activities and social interactions.
  • Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in clients’ conditions to the appropriate personnel.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement care plans tailored to each client’s needs.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members to ensure a high standard of care is maintained.
  • Participate in training sessions and continuous professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in the field of care.

Experience

  • Previous experience in home care or a care home setting is preferred but not essential; we welcome candidates who are eager to learn.
  • Strong communication skills in English are required for effective interaction with clients and team members.
  • A valid driving licence is essential as location is in a rural setting.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £13.00-£13.80 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 42 per week
