Lead Support
We are looking for a lead support to lead a team in providing support and personal care to people who have physical and/or learning difficulties to live in their own homes. To support the Team Leader in delivering a quality service throughout Supported Living, while promoting Diverse Abilities in a positive manner and participating in community events.
**Due to genuine occupational need, we require female applicants only**
Requirements:
- Flexibility to work across the week and alternate weekends
- Basic IT skills including using Microsoft word and emails
- Full UK manual drivers license is essential
This contract is for 30 hours per week, working on a 2 week rolling rota covering alternate weekends and a mixture of days, evenings and sleep-in shifts.

Lead Support experience is not absolutely essential, although a willingness to learn, an empathetic outlook and a sense of humour are of the utmost importance!
Duties will include:
- To be the main contact working with the service and the Team Leader
- Work in partnership with a promote positive relationships with families, friends, and other professionals representing Diverse Abilities in a professional manner
- Mentor new staff through their induction programme and support the Team Leader with competencies where necessary
- Ensure the service provided fully reflects the needs and wishes of those it supports through ongoing person centred planning.
