Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Worker to provide high-quality support to an individual in need of assistance. The ideal candidate will have some care experience. This role involves delivering personal care, administering medication, providing companionship and ensuring the well-being of client in their home.

The applicant needs to be compassionate, reliable, and have good time keeping skills.

Masks are worn throughout the shift due to the vulnerability of the client.

A good sense of humour and a fun personality is key.

Responsibilities

• Assist client with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Administer medication as prescribed and monitor clients for any side effects or changes in condition.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
• Implement behaviour management strategies to assist clients with special needs.
• Maintain accurate records of client care and report any concerns to healthcare professionals.
• Collaborate with management and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Support clients in engaging in social activities and maintaining their independence.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations while providing care.

Skills

• Experience in senior care, or home care settings is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of medication administration protocols and patient care best practices.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to manage challenging behaviours with patience and understanding.
• A caring attitude with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing client needs and schedules.

Pay: £170.00-£174.80 per day
