Field Service Representatives sit within Technical Support which provides various functions including Technical Subject Matter Expertise (SME), are responsible for in-service and technical support to deployed systems and provides a cross business functions in support of R&D, Sales/BD and Operations.Main duties of the position
To provide FSR support to Kirintec’s deployed systems, in line with company, customer and contractual standards and requirements. This is a hands-on role.
Reporting Line
This role reports to the Lead Field Service Representative (Lead FSR).
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct vehicle installations and system commissioning
- Perform customer support tasks
- Perform all installation, repair, management and maintenance
- Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions
- Produce timely and detailed service reports
- Identify all issues
- Suggest and implement solutions
- Use field automation systems (where appropriate)
- Adhere to company’s given rules and regulations
- Team up with colleagues and other team members
- Build relationships and trust with customers and clients
Essential Skills
- 5 years of experience field service representative or similar role
- Experience with managing and preserving technical equipment
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
- Team player
- Good time-management skills
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Accustomed to using mobile tools and applications
- Technical degree or certification
- Working knowledge of design engineering methods
- Attention to detail
- Self-starter
- Computer literate
Desirable Skills
- Knowledge of commonly used ILS software packages
- Energy, flexibility, enthusiasm, persistence and commitment.
- The motivation to succeed and make a difference whilst performing in a pressured environment
- The wherewithal to acquire new skills and drive the role forward

Hours: Contract based
Location: Deployed
Travel: National and International travel will be required
Clearance: SC clearance or above is essential (Kirintec will process for successful applicant)
Duration: Contract based
Probation: 3 months
