Finance Manager – Treasury and Payments
Job Description
Malaria Consortium is recruiting for a Finance Manager – Treasury and Payments to join our team in London, UK.
As part of Finance team, the Finance Manager-Treasury and Payments will provide an efficient, relevant and timely financial and management accounting service to all countries where Malaria Consortium operate, with a strong focus on providing budgeting, forecasting and analytical reporting support to HQ and in country management, both finance and project staff.
The Treasury and Payments Manager also will oversee the organization’s global cash flow, banking relationships, payroll, and payment processes. This role will ensure efficient cash management and smooth execution of financial transactions, while also providing coverage for central finance tasks as needed. The position requires strong financial acumen and the ability to manage complex financial operations across multiple countries.
The successful candidate will have:
- Excellent computer skills with high proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical skills, commercial awareness and attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong influencing skills.
- Strong planning and organising skills.
- Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks whilst working under pressure.
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
- Be a Qualified Accountant
- Experience of payroll accounting and a good understanding of UK payroll
- Experience in processing large amounts of payments
- Experience in working in an international organisation
