Job Description

The Finance Manager will work closely with the finance team to ensure that financial transactions are accurately recorded, reconciled, and reported in a timely manner. This role involves assisting with accounting, financial reporting, and budget management while maintaining high levels of accuracy and confidentiality.

Responsibilities:

  • Review various documents, input data into the financial system, and prepare financial statements
  • Organise and file accounting related documents
  • Liaise with bank and regularly reconcile bank account transactions
  • Assist the Finance Director in daily management of the finance department
  • Issue invoices based on sales and complete tax declarations and payments on time
  • Report the status of operations, and details of financial income and expenditure promptly
  • Responsible for submitting relevant financial reports to HMRC in a timely manner
  • Regularly reconcile accounts each month and promptly clear outstanding balances
  • Compile and summarise business related data into ledgers as requested by the Finance Director
  • Strictly follow the group’s financial policies to review the expense reimbursement process in the OA system
  • Complete other ad-hoc tasks as assigned

Requirements:

  • ACCA qualified and degree in Accounting/Finance.
  • Over 3 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance field, preferably with experience in working in trading companies
  • Proficient in financial and office software, with hands-on experience in Xero
  • Familiar with UK financial laws and regulations, including those related to finance, taxation and auditing
  • Maintain accurate and timely bookkeeping, with daily account balancing and monthly reconciliation, ensuring that ledgers and financial reports are prepared accurately and on time
  • Detail-oriented, precise in work, with strong interpersonal coordination skills, as well as planning and execution abilities

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £40,000.00-£50,000.00 per year

  • Monday to Friday
