Job Description

Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Financial Administrator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and supporting the overall financial health of the organisation. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments.

Duties

  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely processing & preparing invoices, payments, and receipts.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports and assist in the preparation of annual budgets.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
  • Liaise with external auditors during audits and provide necessary documentation as required.
  • Provide support for financial queries from staff and management, offering guidance on financial procedures.
  • Continuously improve financial processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy..
  • Complete month-end processes including bank and petty cash reconciliations.
  • VAT Returns.
  • Salary
  • Resolve invoice queries and chase debts.
  • Supplier statements.
  • Process expenses.
  • Create reports and assist the Finance Manager with the annual budget setting process.
  • FAR Management

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a financial administration role or similar position is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills.
  • A relevant qualification in finance or accounting (e.g., AAT) is desirable but not mandatory.
