Job Description

Full Time Floating Community Support Worker

Dignicare work in 3 main areas of West/North Yorkshire. The purpose of this role is to work across all 3 teams. Requiring flexibility and a can do attitude. This will require the successful candidate to work as part of the different staff teams. This role includes working alternate weekends and is for experienced home care workers only

Responsibilities

  • Provide personalised care and support to clients in their homes, ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Assist with daily living activities, including meal preparation, medication administration, and personal hygiene.
  • Monitor clients’ health and well-being, reporting any changes to the healthcare team.
  • Maintain accurate records of care provided and communicate effectively with family members.
  • Support clients with mobility and behavior management, ensuring a respectful and compassionate approach.

Qualifications

  • Relevant care experience in home care settings
  • NVQ qualification in health and social care
  • Skills in assisted living and patient care
  • Experience with Alzheimer’s, dementia, and hospice care
  • Proficient in medication administration and first aid
  • Ability to manage behavior
  • Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £14.56-£15.68 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 40 per week
