Your responsibilities will include assisting with food preparation, managing customer orders, and contributing to the overall dining experience. Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a friendly and inviting atmosphere.
• Assist with food preparation in the kitchen, adhering to food safety standards.
• Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, using basic maths skills for transactions.
• Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables and service stations.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery and address any customer needs.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, striving for complete satisfaction.
• Support team members during busy periods, demonstrating excellent time management skills.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential.
• Basic culinary knowledge and understanding of food safety practices are advantageous.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a busy environment.
• Excellent communication skills with a friendly disposition towards customers and colleagues alike.
• Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• A willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic team environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract

Pay: From £12.25 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 40 per week
