MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB:

To assist the Food and Beverage Manager in enabling employees under your control, to consistently achieve product and service delivery standards and ensure a high degree of customer care.

JOB SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Make sure that all stores, drinks and linen are requisitioned daily to meet business needs.
  • Ensure the restaurant is correctly prepared prior to each meal service.
  • Check all cleaning schedules are adhered to on a daily basis.
  • Make sure that service delivery is consistently achieved in line with agreed departmental and core
  • standards.
  • Check that all guest’s charges are passed to Reception for posting.
  • Hazards, accidents and maintenance are reported immediately and auctioned as soon as possible.
  • Follow security procedures correctly.
  • Ensure Fire, Health and safety training has been attended every 6 months.
  • Make sure all identified training sessions are attended.
  • Be aware of the implications of the weights and Measures, Licensing Laws and Food Hygiene.
  • Regulations and ensure all laws are adhered to.
  • Make sure that complaints are dealt with in a professional manner.
  • Ensure all staff displays a courteous and helpful attitude to all guests.
  • Have full awareness of Hotel and Company products. To act in accordance with the hotel and departmental fire procedures.
  • To be fully aware of the company and hotel policy regarding children.
  • To undertake any other duties as may reasonably be requested by the management.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £11.96-£12.50 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week

Overview

Montcalm Marble Arch is looking for a skilled and ambitious Food & Beverage Supervisor to join our team. You will work closely with the Food & Beverage Management Team and the General Manager overseeing daily operations of the F&B Outlets, ensuring exceptional service standards and delivering a luxury dining experience.

This role involves leading, training and supervising F&B Team, maintaining operational efficiency and ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations. The F&B Supervisor will act as a key point of contact between guests and the kitchen and will ensure that all service standards reflect the hotel’s luxury brand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet all guests with a warm and welcoming demeanour around the hotel.

  • Assist in coordination of large events, private dining, and special functions.
  • Manage Restaurant bookings, making sure all customers experience five star service.
  • Monitor team schedules and ensure adequate coverage for all shifts.
  • Lead, motivate and develop a high-performing F&B Team to deliver superior gust experience.
  • Conduct on-the-job training for the team, lead by example.
  • Ensure F&B Team is presentable at all times, adhering to grooming and uniform standards.

  • Participate in regular meetings with management to discuss operations, staff and guest feedback.
  • Respond to emergency situations calmly and efficiently, following hotel protocols.

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in food and beverage with at least 1 year in a supervisory role in a luxury hotel or fine dining environment.
