Food Graduate (NPD)

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the generation of new product ideas and managing product concepts through the innovation process to factory scale production.

The Role:

• Develop and maintain working relationships with key retail account personnel as required
• Manage and co-ordinate assigned development projects to ensure effectively completed.
• Work closely with Site lead and NPD Managers to assist will all aspects of the development process
• Carry out the necessary practical and administrative duties with respect to the NPD process and critical path.
• Assist with the co-ordination and delivery of customer presentations;
• Staying abreast of food trends and identifying NPD opportunities to support all future business strategies;
• Conducting all NPD activities in accordance with company and customer requirements.

Essential Criteria

• Degree in a food related discipline
• Ideally at least one year’s experience working in a food product development
• Excellent communication, organising and planning skills;
• PC proficient;
• Experience of working within reformed meat and meal solution categories is desirable but not essential.
