Who are we looking for?

We’re seeking an experienced, enthusiastic, and well-rounded individual to join our team. You’ll be part of the action both behind the bar and on the floor, delivering top-notch service and creating memorable guest experiences.

  • Previous experience in a bar or restaurant setting

Job Description

Front of House Team Member

Location: Midsummer House, Midsummer Common, Cambridge CB4 1HA

Salary: Up to £31,000 plus tips (DOE)

( up to £9,000 potential tip earnings)

Hours: Wednesday – Saturday every week.

Holiday: 5 weeks holiday (inclusive of 2 weeks over Christmas, 1 week in spring and 2 weeks in summer)

Days: This is a permanent job, four days a week, including lunch and dinner service every day we are open.

The restaurant is open Wednesday to Saturday. Flexibility to work all shifts between all specified days is required.

SUMMARY OF POSITION
We are looking to recruit experienced and professional waiting staff as we build an enthusiastic front of house team who will be responsible for greeting, assisting and serving guests.

If you are well presented, have excellent customer service skills and are available to join us for the busy summer and beyond, then we would like to hear from you.

We are looking for applicants who have the following skills:

· Waiting or hospitality experience is preferred, although additional training will be provided.

· Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills

· A courteous and polite manner in order to be attentive to guests at all times

· Initiative, with a can-do attitude and who takes pride in the service provided

· Ability to work as part of a team, supporting colleagues at peak times with an ability to follow instructions

· Assist and monitor all aspects of the guests’ experience, from preparations before the guests arrive, to the experience they receive whilst here, and act to enhance that experience so that the service is seamless

· To work towards managing and being responsible for a section of the restaurant. This includes being proficient in serving dishes in the restaurant, and in managing the service of the tables in a section
