Fulfilment Associate / Packer
Job Description
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Packer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that products are accurately packed and prepared for shipment. This position requires attention to detail, the ability to perform heavy lifting, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality control.
Duties
- Accurately pick and pack products according to order specifications.
- Perform heavy lifting and load/unload items as required.
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure that all packed items meet company standards.
- Manage stock levels and assist in inventory management.
- Operate forklifts safely when necessary for materials handling.
- Utilise the warehouse management system to track inventory and shipments.
- Assist with shipping and receiving processes, ensuring timely dispatch of goods.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Apply mechanical knowledge when handling equipment or troubleshooting issues.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a packing or warehouse role is preferred but not essential.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods.
- Familiarity with materials handling techniques and warehouse management systems.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality control.
- Basic mechanical knowledge is advantageous for equipment operation.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive approach to teamwork and communication.

Pay: £11.44-£11.50 per hour
