About the role:
As a Full Stack Software Engineer at Dizplai, you will work closely with a creative team of developers to continuously enhance and evolve our products and services. In this role, your responsibilities will include building and developing custom interactive applications, collaborating with fellow developers, designers, and stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes. You will take ownership of new feature development and proactively identify and resolve potential issues before they escalate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and enhance custom interactive applications across front and backend
  • Collaborate with developers, designers, and stakeholders to ensure project success
  • Take ownership of new feature development
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and programming trends
  • Proactively identify and resolve potential issues before they become critical incidents.
  • As a strong advocate of DevOps principles, you’ll be directly engaged with addressing the daily operational needs of customers who utilise the systems and components delivered by you and your team. This role will also involve participation in the on-call rotation.

Requirements:

  • Applicants must either hold British citizenship or possess indefinite rights to work in the UK.
  • Experience in web development using Javascript web frameworks including Vue and React.
  • Preferably some Java / Node back end experience preferably working with REST, SQL and NoSQL databases, and messaging platforms
  • Experience working with cloud-based environments like AWS / Google
  • Strong analytical, programming, and problem-solving skills
  • Preferably some experience with NoSQL databases
  • Understanding or interest in broadcast and streaming technologies

As a member of the Mastercard Intelligence team, you will help build real-time interactive applications for thousands of clients across the globe that allow users to compare the performance of their portfolio against benchmarks. The team will consist of full-stack developers focused on building a platform that leverages the Mastercard data and combining it with other data provided by 3rd parties and clients to power applications that help clients track performance and identify underperforming groups of customers. You will have the opportunity to build a high-performance analytics platform that advances how businesses all over the world unleash the most value from Mastercard data. The teams work in small, flexible groups and every team member contributes to feature design, building, and testing. The range of work you encounter varies from building data pipelines to working on web apps to writing server-side calculation code to performance turning of large workloads. Role

  • Design and develop state of the art service-oriented software architectures
  • Build high-value analytics off of large data sets while keeping performance top of mind
  • Evolve the calculation infrastructure to handle an increase in data volume and user base as we scale globally
  • Leverage new technologies and approaches to innovating with increasingly large data sets
  • Collaborate across teams with exceptional peers who are passionate about what they do
  • Assist in leading the development team and serve as a technical resource for team members
  • Mentor the team and provide guidance to improve on the quality of product development
