Mini Explorers Nursery – Crabtree Hall
Hours – 30 / 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday. Shifts between the hours of 6.45am – 7pm
Rate: £12.30 per hour – pay will be reviewed again in March 2025
Start date: February 2025

We are searching for a dedicated and caring Early Years Educator to join our unique nursery team, where children don’t just learn within four walls – they discover the world outside! What You’ll Be Doing:
- Nurture & Guide: Care for and support children through their early development stages, both indoors and out.
- Outdoor Learning: Design and lead activities that foster learning and creativity in nature – from forest walks to hands-on garden projects.
- Effective Communication: Keep parents and colleagues updated on children’s progress, sharing their exciting outdoor adventures.
- EYFS Implementation: Apply the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum with an emphasis on learning through nature and outdoor exploration.
- Continuous Improvement: Always strive to enhance teaching practices, using the outdoors as an extension of the classroom.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: You’ve worked in a nursery setting and understand how to create a warm, stimulating environment that extends beyond the classroom.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills to interact with children, parents, and staff, sharing insights on both classroom and outdoor activities.
- Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Education are ideal, and a passion for outdoor learning is a must!
