Pay rates : £14.55

Shift pattern: Monday – Friday 07.30 – 15.00

Total Hour: 36 Hour/week

Requirement

  • Essential – a full UK driving licence
  • Desirable skills – Trailer experience BE on licence, nvq in horticulture.
  • Experience – Min 2 years in gardening.

Qualification

  • Good knowledge using gardening tool, ie strimmer’s, mowers, hedge trimmers blowers and gardening hand tools.

*Candidate must able to drive a 3.5 ton van,
*Full UK clean driving licence

Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 2 months

Pay: £14.55 per hour

Expected hours: 36 per week

Job Overview
Mowtivated Ltd is a rapidly-expanding, Surrey based Landscaping and Maintenance Gardening firm. The applicant MUST have a driving licence due to the rural setting of the office to attend morning meetings at 7am.

We are seeking a reliable, experienced Gardener to join our maintenance team on a full-time basis, Monday to Friday. Gardening experience required, ability to drive a van desirable.

Duties

  • Mowing and lawn care
  • Planting and general aftercare
  • Pruning and hedge cutting
  • Weeding and border maintenance
  • Using horticultural machinery including pedestrian mowers, hedge cutters, strimmer’s and backpack blowers
  • Pesticide application
  • Working as part of a team

Requirements

  • Horticultural experience
  • Good plant knowledge
  • Driving license
  • Attention to detail
  • Enjoys working outdoors within a lively team

We provide vehicles, tools and PPE. Day rate based on experience.

Muddifords Court is set within 14 acres of beautiful grounds. We are home to Kingwood Children, our onsite Kindergarten as well as providing a Hub for many community events, classes, activities and festivals, including our pop up cafe and animal park. To keep our grounds looking wonderful we need a talented and visionary person to maintain and continue to develop our gardens as well as bring a love of gardening to the children, team and our families as well as the wider public.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about the outdoors and has a desire to bring the magic of Muddifords to our little explorers, holding our educational values at the heart of all that they do. We are looking for the following abilities…

– General up keep of the garden, supporting the grounds team with a vision for the development of our space.

– Assist in the development of our project, communicating creative and inspiring ideas to support our vision and values.

– Ensure that the grounds are maintained to a high standard and that meets the varied needs of the business.

– Be responsible for planning and organising the growing of produce to supply the kitchen, involving the children and staff to teach the process of farm to fork and where our food comes from.

– A responsibility for Health and Safety, ensuring the safe use of tools and equipment.

– A good knowledge of trees, plants, vegetables and fruit growing in order to develop our gardens as an area of beauty and support children’s learning about nature and growing.

– Plan and implement seasonal gardening tasks.
