General assembly fitter required.

McQuaid Engineering Ltd manufactures a range of mechanical and hydraulic driven attachments. Our products are world renowned and export worldwide. Our staff are highly trained and carryout daily activities within ISO-3834 and ISO-9001 manufacturing quality standards.

Recently our company has broadened the range of products we manufacture and expanded into new markets, we now require additional staff to meet ever-increasing sales and production output capabilities as a result.

Due to this increased activity McQuaid Engineering now requires an additional member of product assembly staff.

The role is general, ranging from basic mechanical fitting to the hydraulic assembly of complex equipment.

Our equipment is unique, it is understood additional training will be required and proactive management support for all staff is part of our company’s ethos.

Experience and skills needed:

3-4 years’ experience in equipment assembly either factory based, or site based is an essential requirement.

Basic skills in mechanical fitting and hydraulic fitting is an essential requirement.

Extensive experience in complex hydraulic fitting is a major benefit but not an essential requirement.

Some experience in plant electrical fitting is a major benefit but not essential.

Job Title: General assembly fitter

Location: Dungannon, Co.Tyrone

Hours of Employment: Monday to Thursday 7am to 4.15pm and Friday 7am to 1.30pm

Salary: Negotiable/Dependent on experience

The successful candidate must have recent and relevant experience within the equipment manufacturing industry and be experienced with all aspects of mechanical and hydraulic fitting.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £14.00-£16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
