General Assistant – Motor Trade

Job Description

Previous motor trade experience is preferential. We are a small independent dealer. The primary role is to ensure our vehicle stock is forecourt ready. This includes road testing a car, making sure it has checks done (pre – delivery checklist provided). You will be required to liaise with mechanics, bodywork paint shops to manage preparation of cars. You will also be required to source parts for vehicles in a cost effective manner. Additionally you shall be responsible to photograph and video our stock and upload them onto our content management system plus manage our social media channels .

A clean driving licence and clean claims history is essential for insurance purposes as there will be a need to be collect and deliver vehicles.

Customer skills are important as there is an element of answering the phone plus dealing face to face.

Previous motor trade experience is preferential.

Weekend work is required.

Pay: £11.44-£11.45 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 37.5 per week
