The Role

We are looking for an experienced Director to lead a portfolio ofclients, working closely with Partners to deliver exceptional client serviceand innovative solutions. This role is pivotal in driving business growth,inspiring and developing team members, and ensuring the highest standards ofservice delivery.

As a key leader, you will play an integral role in shaping the future ofthe firm, driving strategic initiatives, and contributing to Monahans’ missionof using our business as a force for good.


Key Responsibilities

As a General Practice Director, you will take ownership of key areas todrive success for both the firm and its clients:

  • Manage, develop and grow a diverse client portfolio, including largetechnically complex clients, delivering innovative solutions and acting as atrusted business advisor.
  • Ensure efficient, high-quality service delivery with a focus on riskmanagement and adopting digital tools.
  • Inspire and mentor teams, fostering a collaborative, inclusive cultureand developing future leaders.
  • Lead business development activities, building a strong pipeline andpromoting cross-service collaboration.
  • Strengthen client relationships through tailored offerings and proactiveengagement with professional networks.
  • Drive strategic initiatives to enhance firm growth, ensuring work ispriced effectively and margins are maintained.
  • Oversee WIP, debtors, and firm risk exposure, contributing to Monahans’mission of positive impact and innovation.

You will haveauthority to sign off on routine accounts, tax returns, general advice, and quotes for new business(excluding specialist advice or matters related to audit and assurance). Youwill also be accountable for proactively managing your own and the team’s WIP,fees, and lock-up targets.


Skills andExperience

We are seekingcandidates who demonstrate the following:

  • ACA or ACCA qualified with significant experience in a senior leadershiprole.
  • Proven ability to manage and grow a client portfolio (£500k+).
  • Strong track record in business development and relationship management.
  • Experienced in leading and inspiring high-performing teams.
  • Strategic thinker with commercial acumen, adept at delivering innovativeresults.
  • Experience of working within a matrix structure or medium-sizedorganisation would be advantageous
