We’re currently seeking a proactive, dependable individual to become part of our Pro Shop team. The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic self-starter with prior experience in golf and/or customer-focused settings. Effective communication skills are a must, as the role revolves around providing exceptional customer service.

If you possess excellent customer service skills and thrive on engaging with the public, we want to hear from you. Please note that a genuine interest in golf and some degree of golf-related experience are prerequisites.

Responsibilities will include:

– Managing opening and closing of the golf shop and clubhouse

– Assist customers in finding products and providing excellent customer service
– Maintain a clean and organized shop environment
– Stock shelves and ensure products are properly displayed
– Process customer transactions accurately using the cash register
– Answer customer inquiries and provide product information
– Assist with inventory management and restocking of merchandise

– Handling golf fees

– Coordinating tee times

– Assisting with admin tasks and organising golf events

Our Pro Shop operates 7 days a week, holidays included. The position requires a 40-hour work week, offering full holiday entitlement and a host of staff benefits. Strong communication, a positive "can do" attitude, and a commitment to offering friendly and courteous service are all essential qualities.

As a family-run enterprise boasting 27 holes of golf, a driving range, practice facilities, a lively pro shop, and clubhouse, we cater to golfers of all skill levels. Whether you’re a novice or a competitive player, our inclusive and warm environment ensures everyone feels at home.

Experience in reception, retail, or administration, coupled with an affinity for golf, would be highly advantageous. Salary will be commensurate with experience. Please keep in mind that given our rural location, access to personal transportation is necessary.
