Good In / Out Warehouse Operator – FLT Driver

Start Date: Feb / March 2025
Location: Harrogate HG2 8PA
Pay: £11.79 – £13 per hour (depending on experience)
Contract: Permanent

Are you an experienced Warehouse Operator looking for a new challenge? We’re seeking a capable and reliable individual to manage the "Good In / Out" operations and run the department independently.

Important: A valid Forklift Truck (FLT) licence is required for this role.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Your Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the "Good In / Out" warehouse operations, ensuring smooth and efficient flow of goods.
  • Manage the loading and unloading of deliveries (FLT licence required).
  • Sort, store, and move stock throughout the warehouse, maintaining an organized environment.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare goods for dispatch (both UK & Export).
  • Handle dispatch paperwork and ensure all import/export documentation is correct.
  • Use our order management system (Microsoft Dynamics) to manage stock levels and orders.
  • Assist with regular stock control and inventory checks.
  • Collaborate with other teams, including Customer Service and Commercial, to ensure accurate order processing.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and maintain a safe, productive workspace.
  • Carry out general housekeeping duties to ensure the warehouse is clean and well-maintained.


What We’re Looking For:

  • Solid experience in a warehouse environment, with a focus on "Good In / Out" processes.
  • A valid Forklift Truck (FLT) licence is essential.
  • Basic computer skills (training will be provided on systems).
  • Ability to work independently and take full ownership of the warehouse department.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proactive, flexible, and able to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Experience with import/export shipping is preferred but not essential.
