Graduate Opportunity: Start Your Career as an Online Surveyor Offshore!

We are seeking a Graduate Online Surveyor to join our team. In this 6-12 month program, you will receive comprehensive training and strong support from the department, helping you develop the skills and experience needed to transition into an Online Surveyor position.

Duties and responsibilities

Ensure that all work performed are in accordance with internal and external applicable HSEQ system.

Check that the online software and equipment is operational and prepared for the up-coming survey tasks.

Participate in all calibration work as applicable for each work task.

Prepare, maintain and file online logs.

Ensure that the ROV and Bridge Crew understand the work task.

Ensure that ROV, Bridge and Deck Crew are aware of the preparations, which has to be performed to ensure an efficient operation (Sensors on ROV etc).

Operate the data logging system and make sure all relevant survey data are logged as required.

Operate the navigation computer and distribute relevant information on the graphic display to bridge and ROV.

Monitor navigation and survey equipment, ensure all sensors and survey equipment are fully operational.

Monitor data quality.

Deployment and operation of transponders, water level recorders, CTD profiler etc.

Prepare upcoming work tasks.

All internal and external (contractual) requirements for applicable projects, related to the data acquisition.

In accordance with the ordinances of the Company, the Online Surveyor to inform Senior Surveyor about technical deviations and problems.

Ensure that the survey data acquisition is performed in accordance with customer and DeepOcean specifications.

Qualifications

Degree in a Survey/Marine Science/Marine Engineering oriented subjects

Proficient verbal and written communication in English.
