Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant: Candidate specification:

  • Graduated with a 2:1 or higher in Education, Psychology or core subject degree.
  • Strong academic background through GCSE and A-levels.
  • Empathy, patience and a positive attitude towards working with children.
  • Ability to build effective relationships with pupils’, staff and parents.
  • Previous experience working with children (desirable but not essential)


Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant: Job specification:

  • Assist with planning and presenting key topics to the children.
  • Supporting children who may have fallen behind in some subjects by offering one-one or small group interventions.
  • Supervise children during breaktime, school trips and extracurricular activates.
  • Support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and activates.
