Grounds Maintenance Worker

Kelburn is looking for skilled and hard working grounds and maintenance staff for the 2025 season. Working under the direction of the Estate Manager alongside the maintenance team, the role will involve a variety of practical tasks and maintenance across the estate. As we are a tourist facility, some weekend working will be required.

Key Duties:
· Ensuring facilities and attractions are maintained to the highest standard
· Site maintenance and gardening
· Grass cutting and strimming
· Painting and basic repair
· Path maintenance
· General cleaning and emptying bins etc
Required attributes:
· Outdoor grounds maintenance experience
· 21+ with full driving licence
· Excellent practical skills
· Physically fit with good initiative, and a positive attitude.
Desired attributes:
· tractor licence
· Spraying licence
· Experience strimming and hedge cutting
· Rope and Harness skills
· A genuine interest and knowledge of conservation, wildlife, and ecology
· Good plant knowledge
