Group Sales Executive

Hours: Full Time, Permanent – Monday to Friday (9-6pm) with occasional weekend work

Location: Daytona Sandown Park, More Lane, Esher, Surrey, KT10 8AN.

Salary: OTE 36,000 – £42,000

Are you a dynamic, self-driven individual with a passion for sales and customer satisfaction? Daytona Motorports is seeking a Group Sales Executive to join their team at their Head Office in Sandown Park, Esher. As a Group Sales Executive, you will play a pivotal role in selling their range of Daytona products to a diverse customer base. Your goal will be to exceed budgeted targets while upholding their company standards and ensuring an exceptional guest experience.

Key success criteria for this role include:

  • Customer Engagement: Respond effectively to inbound sales inquiries via telephone and email. Identify customer needs and seize opportunities to up-sell and cross-sell Daytona products.
  • Sales Conversion: Convert inquiries into profitable sales, striving to surpass budgeted targets across our product range.
  • Data Management: Accurately capture and input customer data into the company database, enabling future contact and marketing opportunities.
  • Opportunity Identification: Periodically research and identify new sales opportunities to present to the Sales Director, contributing to the creation of new revenue sources.
  • Product Success: Monitor and assess product success, proposing modifications as needed to maintain profitability.
  • Professionalism: Execute duties professionally and consistently, following all company procedures, and maintaining the highest levels of customer service and satisfaction.
  • Flexibility: Demonstrate excellent time management skills and adaptability to work weekend days when required.

Candidate profile:

  • Personality: You are a self-driven, results-oriented individual with a positive outlook, driven by quality and profit. Your motivation, discipline, and articulateness set you apart. You are a team player with excellent communication skills, professionalism, and a customer-centric approach.
  • IT Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel, is essential.
  • Business and Selling Skills: You are an excellent telephone communicator comfortable dealing with executives and private individuals. Previous experience in event or hospitality sales is advantageous, and a passion for motorsport is a plus.
  • Numeracy and Literacy: You possess a good standard of numeracy and literacy, including basic business calculations (e.g., gross margin percentages and VAT) and strong writing skills with excellent spelling and grammar.
