Health Care Assistant (days)

Job Description

General healthcare assistant duties in a residential care setting to include; assisting residents at meal times, assisting residents with toileting and personal care needs throughout the day and assisting residents to get up in the morning and assisting residents to bed. Enabling residents to go about their routines safely and assisting them to maintain dignity, independence and promote their choices.

Any training needs will be met by the home.

Shifts are 9am-9pm with a variety of shifts available. All hours are on a set rota.

Staff will be led by a Senior Carer who will direct staff as to their responsibilities on shift and who staff will report to.

Staff must be able to work as part of a team but at times on their own using initiative when required.

Pay: £11.44 per hour

Expected hours: 33 per week
