Health Care Assistant (part time)

Job Description

We are recruiting on behalf of Glan Rhos Care Home who are based in Brynsiencyn and currently looking for Health Care Assistants.

Duties include:

•To provide care in accordance with best practice and legislative requirements, reflecting policies and procedures and agreed standards under the direction of the Senior Carer/Nurse

•To support and enable individuals to maintain skills and personal interests whilst delivering person-centred care unique to each individual

•To maintain skills at a current level and undertake such training and development as required, from time to time, to maintain and progress knowledge

The Carer’s responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

•Ensure individuals are at the heart of care delivery and that their wishes and preferences enhance their wellbeing

•To contribute to the efficient running of the service

•Support individuals to maintain their relationships and connections with the local community

•Ensure personal plans and other information about how to support individuals are followed

•Be responsible for informing the Senior Carer/Nurse of any changes in the needs of individuals

•Be responsible for promoting and protecting the welfare of those individuals supported by the service

•Develop effective working relationships with other employees within the service

•Work in cooperation with members of the multidisciplinary teams to maximise opportunities for individuals

Attend statutory training and any other training as directed by management;

Non NVQ – £12.60 an hour

QCF 2 – £12.82

QCF 3 – £13.04

DRIVING ESSENTIAL DUE TO LOCATION

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £12.60-£13.04 per hour

Expected hours: 24 per week
