HGV – Class 1/CE Tramper Drivers URGENTLY Required ………………………

What are we looking for?

Drivers Direct are recruiting for Class 1 Tramper drivers for one of our clients in Cawthorne, Barnsley for a temp to perm position.

What’s on offer?

• Basic salary of £34,814 (average with overtime between £42k and£46k)
• Temp to perm position starting asap.
• This is a Tramping position with 4 nights out every week
• 20 days holiday per year PLUS bank holidays
• For insurance purposes you must have held your C+E Classification for a minimum of 1 year, with no bans or major endorsements (IN, DR, DD) and no more than 6 points showing.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of drainage equipment to various sites.
• Operate HGV Class 1/CE/Cat 1 vehicles safely and efficiently for long-distance transport.
• Ensure timely delivery of goods while adhering to all road safety regulations.
• Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain vehicle cleanliness.
• Manage documentation related to deliveries and maintain accurate records.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery schedules and any issues.
• Utilize flatbed transport methods when required, ensuring proper loading and securing of cargo.
