Deva Recruitment are looking for CLASS 2 HGV MULTI DROP DRIVERS (working within the food delivery business)
Working with one of the leading Food distribution companies within the UK delivering to Schools , Care Homes , Hotels , Local shops
We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across various locations using a Box units.
Duties:
– Drive Class 2 lorries to transport good to designated locations
– Load and unload safely and securely
– Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and safety concerns before and after each trip
– Follow traffic laws and regulations at all times
– Maintain accurate driving logs and records
– Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and colleagues
– Adhere to delivery schedules and deadlines
Qualifications:
– Hold a valid Commercial Driving Licence
- CPC , DIGI and Less than 6 Points
- 12 Months Driving a similar vehicle
– Proven experience as a truck driver, preferably with flatbed experience
– Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record
– Ability to drive long distances while adhering to road safety regulations
– Strong physical stamina for loading/unloading cargo and long hours of driving
– Good communication skills and a customer-oriented approach
PAY RATES
£18.48ph-£20.71ph Inclusive of Holiday Pay
Overtime after 45hrs £27.72ph-£31ph Inclusive of Holiday Pay
