HGV Class 2 HIAB Driver

Job Description

Drivers Direct Recruitment are looking to recruit a Class 2 HIAB Drivers on behalf of our client to join their team as a full time driver in Hinckley.

YOU MUST HAVE: Allmi Licence Brick Grab and Remote (C5 +E) due to recent change in our clients company policy.

Hours of work:

• Temp-Perm available
• Start date – ASAP
• 0700-1830 (flexibility needed on the end time).
• Multi drop to customers houses.
• Monday-Friday.
• Minimum of 8 hours pay Mon-Fri, then possibly OT.
• Expected to work bank holidays.
• Bonus – £240 month by month, if targets are hit and performance is of a high standard
• DBS check required

Induction:

• 2 days and is paid.
• Will have buddy training.
• Induction may not necessarily be on the same site, but expenses will be covered for any travelling etc.

Salary:

• £16.00ph – £20.00ph – this includes holiday pay
• Bonus – £240 month by month, if targets are hit and performance is of a high standard

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Carrying out relevant daily vehicle safety checks and reporting as per Operational Procedures.
• Ensure all delivery and collections are carried out in accordance with company procedures.
• To deliver & collect to customers in a safe and professional manner.
• To complete all work related paperwork in full and hand in at the end of the shift.

Essential Skills:

• Good communication skills.
• Good customer relations.
• Have a safe driving record.
• Hold a valid HGV 2 / Cat CE licence.
• No more than 9 minor penalty points.
• No DR’s, IN’s or DD’s offence codes due to insurance stipulations.
• Driver qualification (CPC) card.
• Digital tacho card.
