HGV Mechanical Fitter

Salary: £13 – 15 per hour

We are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Fitter (HGV) to join our client based in Kidderminster.

Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance, repairs, and servicing on HGVs and other heavy-duty vehicles.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
• Ensure vehicles meet safety and regulatory standards.
• Work with a team of professionals in a well-equipped workshop.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter (HGV) or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of HGV mechanics and systems.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Relevant qualifications and certifications (e.g., NVQ or City & Guilds in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance).
• Full UK driving license (Category C or C+E preferred).
• Excellent problem-solving skills.

Hours and Pay:

• Flexible hours between 7:30am – 6pm.
• £13.00 – £15.00 per hour based on experience.
• Overtime at 1.5
