Holiday park maintenance / groundsperson

Job Description

Responsibilities:
– Maintain the overall appearance and cleanliness of the grounds
– Perform regular landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, and edging
– Plant and maintain flowers, shrubs, and trees
– Operate power tools and equipment to perform groundskeeping tasks
– Dig trenches and install irrigation systems
– Build and repair fences, gates, and other outdoor structures
– Ensure proper irrigation of plants and lawns
– Remove debris and litter from the grounds

Requirements:
– Previous experience in groundskeeping or a related field preferred
– Knowledge of mechanical equipment used in groundskeeping
– Ability to operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively
– Strong understanding of landscape maintenance techniques
– Ability to work independently or as part of a team
– Physical stamina to perform manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions
– Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 10.5 months

Pay: From £11.50 per hour

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• No weekends

Licence/Certification:

• Driving Licence (required)

Work Location: In person
