Horticultural Expert, Klondyke Garden Centre

We are looking for a Full Time Permanent Horticultural Expert to join the team in our Klondyke Garden Centre.

The hours for this position are 35 hours per week over 5 days including regular weekend shifts so flexibility is a must.

The hourly rate for the Horticultural Expert role is £11.66.

The Role

As a Horticultural Expert, you have a use your specialist plant knowledge to provide excellent customer service, creating an exceptional shopping experience for our customers helping them to make informed purchases.

What you will be doing as a Horticultural Expert?

• Plant stock replenishment and merchandising to create fabulous plant displays
• Taking the lead in the care of our plants ensuring they are always healthy and looking great for our customers
• Advising our customers on suitable plants and products for their needs, taking every opportunity to WOW.
• Working closely with the Plant Area Assistants to develop their horticultural knowledge.
• Till operation and serving customers
• Carry out cleaning and housekeeping tasks as needed
• Assisting customers with carrying purchases to their cars
